"Madrid me mata" is the typical statement of those who have visited Madrid, a city of art and culture, but also synonymus with nightlife, flamenco and tapas.

The range of budget hotels in the Spanish capital is really wide and very good, with Wi-Fi connection, breakfast included in the rate and en suite rooms. Cheap hotels are available in every district of the city, even in the most central, as Barrio Salamanca or Barrio Retiro, where there’s the big park, or even in Barrio Moncloa, near the Complutense University.

Cheap 1, 2 and 3 star hotels are also located near Calle Gran Via, north of the centre, and in the area close to the gardens of Plaza de Oriente. It is worthy of note that also the big hotel chains often offer quite cheap rooms, especially in those periods of the year in which the tourist affluence is minor, that is between October and March. The average price for a room in a cheap hotel in Madrid is between 50 and 60 Euros without breakfast.
