Choosing a B&B in Rome

The range of B&Bs in Rome is well developed. There are dozens of private facilities providing single or double rooms but also studios to rest after a busy day of sightseeing or business. Several B&Bs are located both in the area of Roma Termini Station and in the historical centre of Rome, of course, at different prices, but generally between 30 and 50 Euros per night. Many Bed & Breakfast are available at short distance from the city center, as in the Coppedè area, near Villa Ada park, in the entire area of Vatican City and in the neighborhood of Monteverde.

Guesthouses in Rome are a good and cheap alternative to hotels: the price for a night stay, breakfast excluded, ranges between 25 and 40 Euros. Inns in the Eternal City feature a small reception, twenty rooms at most, minimal but functional furniture, almost always are equipped with en-suite bathroom. In rooms with prices around 40 Euros are also available television and air conditioning. Most guesthouses in Rome are located near the train stations: Roma Termini Station,Tiburtina Station, Roma Trastevere Station where there’s also the subway stop and Roma Ostiense railway station.
