Choosing the right hostel in Dublin

There is good availability of hostels in Dublin. Students who attend Trinity College and tourists can stay in excellent facilities offering both dormitories with bunk beds and smaller rooms with 2-4-6 beds, some with private bathrooms.

Hostels are affiliated with Bord Fàilte, the Irish Tourism Development Authority, that ensure the quality of the property. Hostel rates in Dublin,15-20 Euros per night, usually include breakfast. Many hostels, however, provide customers with a small kitchen to prepare breakfast by themselves.

In the center of Dublin, in Temple Bar or St Stephen's Green areas, there are high level hostels offering the same services of a 2 or 3 star hotel. This leads to an increase in the cost of the stay that can be up to 40-60 Euros per night, breakfast included.
