Hostels and guesthouses in Frankfurt

In Frankfurt there are some twenty Hostels, also known as Haus der Jugend. These are reasonably good accommodation with a choice of beds in dormitories, usually up to 6-8 beds and a shared bathroom, or sometimes double rooms with private bathroom.

Most hostels are located near the train station, in Bahnhofsviertel district, but there are also facilities closer to the centre, in the Innestadt area. The prices are very diversified, both in relation to the structure and the room type: indeed, you can sleep for 20-30 Euros per night, but find also more expensive solutions for up to 50-60 Euros in a double room with private bathroom. Most of Frankfurt hostels feature free Internet access and relaxation rooms.
