The offer of hostels in Berlin is really wide. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall on, the city has been completely renovated and especially in the eastern area of the city (now very trendy) many low cost accommodation have risen.
New hostels are large and bright properties featuring services of mid-class hotels, such as video surveillance systems and safe-deposit box, large common areas with drinks and food vending machines, games rooms and laundry service.
The most of hostels rooms has 4-6-8 beds and free Wi-Fi, but double rooms with en suite bathroom are even available. In these new facilities, prices range between 25 and 30 Euros per night. In the central area of Mitte there are excellent hostels, but many young travelers prefer to seek accommodation in the Kreuzberg district.
