Guide to Prague Hostels

Up to some years ago, hostels in Prague were considered a lodging solution for young people or tourists on a limited budget. The service wasn’t always perfect and the noise definitely high. In the last years, especially in the district of Prague 1, the range of services offered by hostels has changed.

Now you have the chance to book a 1 night stay in a hostel in central Prague at 17-20 Euros including free internet connection, private lockers and breakfast. It is possible to find even 2 or 3 bed rooms with en-suite bathroom: in this case the price is around 35-50 Euros per person.

During low-season, between October and April, except Christmas holidays and New Year’s Eve, the hostel rates decrease and advance booking is not recommended as it is in Spring and Autumn, when Prague is one of the most popular travel destinations in Europe.
