Cheap Hotels in Dubrovnik

All cheap hotels in Dubrovnik are located in Lapad area, the promontory opposite the entrance to the harbor. They are all 2- or 3-star hotels that with average rates below € 40 for a single room and around € 50 for a double room that in some cases includes breakfast.

Most of the budget hotels in Dubrovnik get excellent ratings, above 7.5 and close to 9/10 in some cases, so they are definitely worth the stay. Some are located very close to the sea or the large Velika Mala Petka park. In most cases, these are all new facilities, sized medium to large, equipped also with triple rooms for families at bargain prices.

Outside the Lapad area and the harbor, there are fewer hotels, even with regards to superior hotels like 3-star superior hotels and some 4-star hotels. The latters often offer discounted rates with double rooms always below € 90 and full board at affordable prices, which often don’t differ so much from the price of the room itself.

Also in this case, we are talking about large hotels, which are only found along the road that connects the airport to the old town. Other beautiful superior quality hotels with rates around € 100 for a double room are found by the sea in the Cavtat area, including some five-star hotels that offer low cost luxury services and princely rooms for less than € 140 per night.

Prices always include breakfast, wi-fi internet and very often superior hotels include beach service, but it is always best to check in advance in order to understand what is actually included in the rate and what is not.
